Over 20 years ago, our first bamboo cutting boards came from scraps of the handmade furniture we were selling at street festivals. On a whim, we brought them to an art show we were exhibiting in, and were stunned when they sold in minutes. Joanne looked at Tom and said, "This is our new product," and Totally Bamboo was born.

The 14-inch board is perfect for cutting meat, the 11-inch board is ideal for cutting favorite fruits and vegetables, and the lightweight 8-inch board is excellent for slicing garnishes or serving a selection of delicious cheeses and meats. The beautiful two-tone design of these boards meshes wonderfully with any decor. Crafted from flat-grain Bamboo, these boards are lightweight, durable and gentle on knives. Boards include a corner hole to hang for storage and for easier carrying. Clean easily by wiping clean or hand washing, but do not soak or wash in the dishwasher. Occasionally treat with Totally Bamboo Revitalizing mineral oil to protect and extend the life and beauty of your board.

Bamboo is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood. As a grass, its roots remain and quickly regrow after harvest. It's grown organically even on difficult terrain without pesticides, artificial irrigation or re-planting. Its root system helps to prevent erosion, and the Moso bamboo used by Totally Bamboo is not a part of the panda's diet.
